Kinda a stupid question , but I know that someone here will know the answer. My new house has a newer Maytag refrigerator with ice and water on the door. It has 5 buttons on the door, ice, crushed ice, water, light, and LOCK. Well I just had to press the LOCK button. Ya se where this is going. I cant figure out how to unlock the system. Nothing works now. I figure that this is a child proof system, well it works even on adults. Its been about three months, and I cant figure it out.
Any idea's

Lance

Press and hold the Lock button for three seconds should unlock it.

For exact info on your model, go to Maytag's webpage. This link will take you to where you can download user manuals to their appliances. You'll need the model number off your fridge to download your manual.

If you don't have any small children, let one of the neighbor's kids unlock it for you. :D

Thanks, I downloaded the manual, it said press the lock button 3 times within 10 seconds.

I spent more time messing with this thing trying differnt patters than it took S&F to get me the info. This is why I send Greg $ each year.
Thanks
Lance

no wife, just girl friends. Hell, need to get laid ??. I feel bad when I sleep with two girls in the same day without showering !!!Ya never loose a girl friend, ya just loose your turn !! Maybe thats why Im not married and I wouldnt put up with chick bitchen about ice and water on the door of a fridge. The sink has plenty of water, and the ice is in the plastic bag.

I was just bothered by a button that didnt work. I just couldnt keep walking by something that didnt work.

hey, took a heavy blow in the terloit tonight, turned on the fart fan,it ran for 2 minutes n back-fired left a brown streak on the ceiling (i'm thinking were the romex ties in)(or maybe the fumes were thicker than i thought)but how do i replace my fart-fan?i figure i'll just pop it out n pop the new one in without hooking up the 4in. vent (need to run critters out of that joice-space anyway)where do i go get a ham centered fart-fan?(need to replace it with the same brand so i aint gotta do no fabricating to the ceiling getting the new one in.

Hey Rob-

I had a fridge go out on me a while back. Did some searching around on the net and found this group- http://groups.msn.com/Appliantology/ . I posted a question about my fridge, with the brand and model#, those guys gave me step by steo instructions on what to test, I gave them the results of the tests, they told me what part I needed...and presto! My beer fridge was back in business!
