View Full Version : Traffic Camera

I was driving when I saw the flash of a traffic camera.
I figured that my picture had been taken for exceeding the limit even though I knew that I was not speeding.
Just to be sure, I went around the block and passed the same spot, driving even more slowly, but again the camera flashed.
Now I began to think that this was quite funny, so I drove even slower as I passed the area once more, but the traffic camera again flashed.
I tried a fourth and fifth time with the same results, and was now laughing as the camera flashed while I rolled past at a snails pace.
Two weeks later, I got five tickets in the mail for driving without a seat belt!

Thats funny. It has to be a joke because there are no red light/traffic cameras in Minnesota that I am aware of.
Very funny though. Sucks if it true.

It's a joke. What camara/device can tell if you have a seatbelt on or not.

That is funny, but don't forget big brother is always watching us. Does anyone think that the only thing those transponders on everyone's windshields are only for paying tolls?

They have toyed with having sensors installed to automatically give out speeding tickets. ;)

They can put sensors anywhere, and would know where you were and when you were there.

That can be done just by having your cell phone on.

I know right! Wouldn't it be horrible if all public employees had to actually work during the hours they get paid. I can't believe they go so far as to make you guys hide under bridges. THE NERVE!. Do us a favor, gather all your coworkers with that attitude and jump off that bridge instead of hide under it.

Come on now Jim what's the sense of being employed in the public sector if you actually have to work. ;)

I run huge jobs with thirty or so employees.part of my job is clocking in and out all the crew order materials and run the job 70 to 100 yards of concrete a day.so for an hour a day i do paperwork on the job .so as not to get called in for no movement. Yes i hide .and by the way how meny of you guys can say you worked 32 1/2 years and never yes never missed a day of work . As of last fri i retired .sorry if i sound snippy but im no dead beat.:)

They are doing away with our traffic cameras here in Jax. They just got too many complaints and people just started ignoring the tickets.

I would get a ticket mailed to me at least twice a month when I was stationed in Germany.... could see myself in the pics to! Just threw them away though.... You can mail me all the tickets you want but I will never get a single one:o
